Weekly meetings can sometimes be a pain! In fact , they can be a great waste. I've noticed throughout my career that most companies know nothing about organizing effective weekly meetings, and have not seen much improvement there after their teams went virtual. What normally happens is: 1. It is taking too long. Like ever! 2. Little or no plan is used. 3. Has no or zero logical connection with the 4. Time spent on discussing things not relevant to most of those who joined.
5. Pathetic motivation or no motivation at all. 6. Placing unnecessary stress on employees. 7. Ruling, not leading. I feel some of the things above might require a broader clarification, so I hope to sit and write another blog with more details on how things can be improved in the nearby future.
